Jay Sonza Calls Out To The Current Management Of TV Patrol: “Huwag naman ninyong bastusin ang pinaghirapan naming ipundar”

Veteran journalist and former TV reporter Jay Sonza called out the management that is in front and behind cameras of TV Patrol for disrespecting what he and his colleagues started in the news field in 1989.

Twisted story

This is after TV Patrol reported about the public school teachers who protested in Quezon City Hall because they are against the “mandatory drug testing for all public school teachers.”

As it turned out, the teachers were rallying because the allowance that the government promised to them has been delayed for 7 months already.

This may be the reason why the placards of the teachers in the news clip were about the allowance and not the drug test.

There was also a cut interview where they may have asked the teacher nonchalantly just to produce a believable report.

Shortly after being uploaded, ABS CBN brought the video down on Facebook.

Disrespect

Sonza mentioned how he along with his new reporter batch worked hard to establish the reputation of the news field. Today, it is being disrespected by these twisted stories that the new breed of reporters is putting mud in it.

Dugo at pawis ang ipinuhunan ko (Jay Sonza, executive producer, Headwriter & Director), katuwang sina Angelique Lazo at Mel Tiangco (Associate Producers), Franky Evangelista (Assistant Program & Production Director), Jimmy Navarro (Program & Production Chief), Angelo Castro, Jr. (Director) DZMM Radyo Patrol Reporters (Jun Ricafrente, Claude Vitug & Co.), Joe Diamse, Jun Loyola, Jun del Rosario at iba pang pang-gabing reporter at crew).
MAHIYA NAMAN KAYO.

Proof

A teacher vouched for Sonza’s statement that the allowance was indeed late.
