In a viral Facebook post by a certain netizen named Jep Maranang, a couple of valuable tips and information were cascaded to the public to warn them of a possible public heist of these criminals.

According to Maranang, these criminals usually operate in a group of around 5-10 people. They pretend to be ordinary “passengers” inside the bus. However, in a really clever way, they strategically position themselves to corner the victim. Yes, they usually corner their victim by making them sit beside the window while the seats in front and at the back of the victim are occupied by their accomplices.

Once cornered, they would then star having small talks with the victim, thus making it known to other passengers everything is good, nothing out of ordinary is happening. Most of the time they would ask you where you are going so it's of best interest to not tell them and make sure that you drop yourself off in a crowded area for safety.

According to Maranang, these criminals would also do stuff to distract and annoy their victims like constantly fixing the AC, mimicking their victim's actions, etc...

Lastly, Maranang advises netizens to be alert and vigilant. He told commuters to immediately leave their seats if he/she senses something fishy going on. The most ideal seat is near the bus driver or conductor, Maranang added.

BUS MODUS OPERANDI
Parang may trainees pa nga eh. Haha. May specific target sila.

Either papalabasin nila sa ibang nakasakay na magkakilala kayo through a conversation.
OTHER SIGNS:
Wag maging easy prey.
